I just wanted to say a little something about Leamington District Memorial Hospital and it's staff in the ER! I had an absess removed behind my neck last week and was in a lot of pain, well the dr in the ER that afternoon (monday) was quick and knew exactly what he was doing. Anyhow I got the care I need the next day and had it surgically removed. Anyone with an open wound knows you have no options here to go to get it drained daily. The home care nurses from Bayshore didn't want to come to my house to clean the would and dress it....so I have been going to.Leamington hospitals ER every morning to have this done, upon their approval. I don't have to drive out to windsor everyday for a five minute dressing change, thanks to the amazing and caring staff at the Leamington ER. I just want to say thank you for being so caring and extremely helpful. After being there everyday I got to see how hard these doctors and nurses work. It's not a easy job, yet they do it with a smile and confidence. I felt well taken care of, and they treated me with tons of respect. These people are angels doing God's work.....i am very grateful to have a place like that to go to incase I need anything more. Thanks guys.....xoxo

Today as i was leaving a store, a gentleman insisted on opening the door for me and offered me his business card, which was not a business card.... it was free pizzas for dominos. That sign of kindness truly made my day. And i hope he knows he started a chain of paying it forward. I then gave those free pizzas to another family that i knew could use them more than me. I just wanted to say thank you for your generosity towards this community and that it is very appreciated.

Hey friends im looking for the girl who was leaving Tim Hortons in leamington , talbot and Fraser tueaday sept 17 at 8:59 am . I was involved in the accident driving the black fusion . she gave me her first #226-?????? But when I moved the car to get her # she had to go thru the light cause of traffic behind her and I'm sure she was late for work also, she had a passenger with her !!! Saw a dog (possibly a German Shepherd or something similar) wandering around on Princess and Marlborough at 11:30pm...I tried calling him/ her over, but it looked like he/ she was on a mission...

My daughter and her friend stopped in at the mac's gas and variety in Ruthven to get gas for her car. After she finished fueling up she went in to pay and immediately was told to get to the back of the line (because it was busy) by Karen who was cashing people out.. While standing in line the lady in front of my daughter let her go ahead of her. Karen called my daughter up to pay and then proceeded to tell her in a very rude way that she could pay at the pump. After my daughter told her she was just paying 40 dollars for gas and that she preferred to pay inside. Karen replied rudely next time pay at the pump, even though that half the debit machines at the pumps do not work..

To the lady in the navy blue dress with the hat who had two dogs in Leamington Marina Park last Sunday afternoon around 5:00 p.m. who let her dogs lie on the picnic table showed poor dog ownership. You let your dogs slobber and lick the picnic table cover. This particular table is used very often by a group of people that play checkers and just visit. After a senior went over to you to tell you to take your dogs off the table, you just treated him like he was wrong asking you to remove her dogs. She told him she did not like her dogs laying on the grass.

I just want to let you know that shortly after you left with your dogs, a grandfather with two young boys came along to enjoy their take-out lunch. They did not have a tablecloth and just ate their lunch the whole time the boys were touching the checker board top exactly where your dogs licked.

Just think someday those boys may be your grandchildren and the previous person at a picnic table may have had their dogs licking all over it. How disgusting. Take ownership and refrain from letting your dogs lie where you know they do not belong. Do you allow them to lie on your dining room or kitchen table, probably not, but the way you acted maybe you do.

a lot of amazing nurses at Leamington Hospital but mostly (Name unknown still) nurse A that took care of my dad when he was having a heart attack and when transported went with him... not only did she care for him but made sure I knew everything that was going on... also another nurse (F) that took wonderful care of my grandmother before she passed... but cared for our family all along! Thank you to both of you and all the wonderful work ALL nurses do to help us!
