I'm sure you did not expect that the dog would run off the way it did. You probably panicked & took off without looking back to see what happened to Coco while you were trying to get away. I don't know the reasons why you decided to reach inside the car, unlock the door & unclip Coco from her tether but whatever the reasons are, I want you to know it was a really rotten thing to do. Coco is still missing. She ran down Fraser as fast as her legs could carry her. Whether she was scared of you or her surroundings, no one will ever know but according to witnesses, she seemed to be running for her life. Coco's owner loves her with all of her being and she's spent the last 62 hours searching for her. To anyone who's cared for a pet who was your whole life, you know what I'm talking about. PLEASE be careful when you are out with your loved ones. Keep them close & if you can't bring them inside with you then please, leave them at home because you never know what dangers you might encounter (like other people). To all the haters, Coco was left for a very short time on a beautiful fall day, with a cool breeze & windows down. Unfortunately this is exactly how she was taken from her owners car.
